As you turn eighteen and start to make a living, you will also start thinking about moving out of your parents' house. Independence can be a sweet thought, but the decision to move is not something you should do in a whim. Ask yourself these questions first before you take the plunge.
Do you have enough money?
While you are earning quite well in your job and have some savings at the bank, these may not be enough to cover for your daily expenses such as the toiletries, food, rent, repairs, detergents, home tools etc.-things you will never realize you need until you leave the comforts of your home.
Do you have a stable income?
Financial stability is something you should be sure of before you decide to move out. Especially in an unsteady economy, it's hard to tell whether your job is something that you can really rely on.
Are you prepared to do everything on your own?
Moving does not only mean freedom from your parents' house rules, but complete independence. Yes, you are going to be responsible for the laundry, food and cleaning. Are you sure you can do all these on your own?
